A few weeks back, Dollarstorecrafts.com posted some fun Halloween ideas from last year- including a picture frame with a skeleton hand. I saw that hand, and just knew it would be great in a gothic inspiried hair "bow". You never know what people will like, want, or hate.
I was in a DT last week and found the packs of skeleton hands- 10/$1. I only grabbed one. I was quite a ways from home, and figured that I would be able to find them easily at any of the 4 other DT's between that one and our home. Lived to regret that, let me tell you!
These bows are fun and funky, without being cutesy for kids. Within the first day, I had an order for 3. I've so far sold 10 of them.
This post is linked up at many great parties! Check them all out here!

Fun and Creepy!
I didn't know you could sell through facebook. Love that. How's it working for you? Do you feel like you get as much traffic through there as you would etsy? Can you do payment through there too? I'm totally curious.
I have had a shop through Etsy for months now. I have made 1 sale on Etsy, and then, there's listing fees. I've spent money to post there, and not broken even on my sale.
Through Facebook, there's a large community of hairbow makers and buyers, you can run spur of the moment sales, and your fan base sees what you post almost immediatly.
In the 4 weeks I've sold through Facebook, I've done over $200 in sales. I would totally recommend it over etsy any day now.
Etsy has it's place, but it isn't as user friendly, and visible as Facebook is.
Payment, we do invoicing through paypal, or you can accept money orders sent directly to you.
There's even an app called ShopNow, which allows you to set up a store front, but for the most part, people just post what they have for sale in albums, price it, and others let you know if they want something.
That is so awesome that you are doing so well! I used to have an Etsy store, but it was really hard to drive traffic there, so I might think about this FB thing.
